There is this place where I am dying to go to, so I decided to surprise my girl Mindy for this perfect lunch… What happened? This place appeared to be closed for some weeks! (fail#1) Adding to that; surprise was long gone as she is way too smart to keep surprises from! (fail#2) Of course, I refuse to give up! So instead we went to one of my fav Italian lunch spots: LaVitaébella.
Pepe (one of the owners) is such a nice guy, always in the mood to chat a little bit, so down to earth! He & Linda are these lovely couple who are originally from Sicily, Italy, and have the sweetest lil’ baby with the biggest adorable eyes ever!
LaVitaébella is really highly recommended of my list of MUST-GOES & MUST-EATS! Every time I have lunch here, I never get disappointed. You can truly taste their origins, their traditions, their love for their food..and the Italian vibe that comes with its lovely, rusty, simple but rich interior. Come here, to feel a lil bit of Italy in the heart of Rotterdam, have a sandwich and a coffee to complete your tour. This trattoria is another plus to our home! And, I think Mindy fell in love with their authentic taste of sandwiches sweetness too! (yay, mission accomplished)
